Regardless of how you interpret Jack and Elizabeth's interactions, you've gotta feel bad for Will in this scene IMO. From his point of view, he went to hell and back trying to save his would-be spouse, and then she does this with someone who sold him to the devil just a couple nights ago.

Underrated scene in my opinion; while Jack was busy running away like a coward, Will bravely took charge with the captain's own crew in a fight for survival against the Kraken, and not once do they question Will's leadership... and he's not even a full captain yet. Badass!

Maybe it's just me but this scene made me very, VERY uncomfortable when I first saw this movie as a kid... and it still kinda does. Elizabeth is literally engaged!
