Old lab equipment - what was it for? Found at Edinburgh Uni. Label narrows it down to the Physiology dept. The maker's stamp 'O. Plath' is also visible, made in Potsdam, Germany. We think it must use electric current somehow, curious about the specifics.

Please help, my cat knocked over my favourite succulent (which I believe is a Moonstone) how do I salvage this poor sight? I've tried and failed propagating from the leaves before. Would love any advice!
